Where are you from? What brought you to Sioux Falls, and or What do you love about Sioux Falls?
I was born and raised in Sioux Falls, but have spent the last 5 years in Utah and Arizona. I'm glad to be back home! I just love the people here. I have a lot of family in the area so it is nice to be living near them again, I have some great friends here, and I love the sense of community, especially in the downtown area. West is best, but Sioux Falls will always be home. :)
What are your top two outdoor activities and why?
Definitely camping and hiking. Those are super cliche outdoor activities but sometimes the basic things are the best! I love the feeling of reaching the end of a hard hike, setting up a tent, starting a fire, cooking some well-earned food, and watching the stars. I feel most fulfilled in those moments.
What is your favorite place that you have travelled to and why?
I love Utah and loved living there, so it's probably my favorite place I've travelled to. My love of the outdoors began when I picked up and moved to the mountains. One of my favorite places is Zion National Park. The Angels Landing hike is one of the scariest hikes I've ever done and I loved every second of it. Arches National Park is unreal as well. I love the outdoor scene in Utah and think everyone needs to travel there.
What is your favorite part of working at GOS?
My favorite part of working at GOS is the people I get to work with! James, DeAnn, and Meghan are the best bosses ever, all of the employees are awesome, and the customers are always great too! Spending my nights and weekends here has been very enjoyable. Also the annual Christmas party definitely doesn't disappoint... :)
If you were stranded on a desert island, and only had 3 foods to have with you, what would they be?
Hmm. Probably tacos, cereal, and strawberries with honey. Also it'd be pretty sweet if the desert island had a Qdoba.
